Saturday, September 18th, 2004Come on Dan. Just admit you got took. I won’t hold it against you. It happens to everyone once in awhile. I can understand. You are season and respected news man. This should not happen to you. We all know that Bush dodged the draft by using his Dad’s connections to get into the National Guard. And there is still plenty of evidence that didn’t even complete his duties just so he could join a political campaign. We know where you where going with this. Those on the right would say you had it in for Bush. That you KNEW the documents where fake. Just remember that these are the same people who would criticize DC for electing Marrion Barry but, still would listen to Rush Linbaugh. So who cares what they think anyway?
But you just ‘fess up to it. Because the longer you defend this thing, the more we see the egg on your face. And the “the documents where fake but the contents where real” excuse just sounds too lame and convenient.
