James Cameron thinks he has found Jesus … but not the way most people think

Monday, February 26th, 2007

The Middle East Blog - TIME
Brace yourself. James Cameron, the man who brought you ‘The Titanic’ is back with another blockbuster. This time, the ship he’s sinking is Christianity.

In a new documentary, Producer Cameron and his director, Simcha Jacobovici, make the starting claim that Jesus wasn’t resurrected –the cornerstone of Christian faith– and that his burial cave was discovered near Jerusalem. And, get this, Jesus sired a son with Mary Magdelene.

No, it’s not a re-make of “The Da Vinci Codes’. It’s supposed to be true.

This is just crazy. EVERYTHING is speculation unless you have KNOWN DNA samples of Mary, the mother of Jesus, Mary Magdelene, or the Lord himself. Just to be forth coming I am not inclined to believe this crap no matter how much “scientific” evidence Cameron and Jacobovici might pull out of their behinds.

let God be true, but every man a liar Romans 3:4

Upgrade woes

Friday, February 9th, 2007

Recently I upgraded to WP 2.1 The changes they made to the database aren’t sitting well with some of my custom widgets, specifially the one that manages my blogroll. You may have seen or will see strange stuff as I try to fix it. As I do everything live on in full view of the world.

Another “backpack drive” to come out this Spring

Friday, February 2nd, 2007

Here I thought that nobody was making the one missing (and to me obvious) mobile device and I just came across the SECOND incarnation of that. A device I called the backpack drive but Agere Calls it Blue Onyx. Seagate calls it DAVE Digital Audio Video Experience. Whats cool is Seagate decided to make it an open-source system, allowing third-party developers to write apps to interface with DAVE from various devices. I expect to see some cool apps for this thing when it comes out later this year. Below is a demo courtesy of Scoble
